If you’re tired of templates, you’re in the right place.

EVERYTHING I CREATE IS CUSTOM TO EACH CLIENT. NOW, IT’S YOUR TURN.

There’s not much in the realm of marketing that I haven’t done—but that doesn’t mean I’m the best person for all of it. The areas where I excel include content creation (both written and graphic), marketing strategy, campaign development, and print/publication production. Can I help you design your website? Yes, but someone else will be better and faster.

I have degrees and certificates from Clemson University, Georgetown University, and Cornell University, but the majority of my knowledge comes from hands-on application over 20 years in the industry. I’ve held a wealth of positions for small businesses, nonprofit and trade associations, and printing companies. Check out my LinkedIn if you want the specifics!

You’ll never be just a number to me.

The beauty of being a small business owner is that I can be flexible to each client’s needs. Some clients have a long-standing arrangement where I manage their marketing daily. Others come to me with individual projects as needed. The most important thing is maintaining a strong business relationship with open communication. And light-hearted banter is always welcome!

Things I Like As Much As Peanut Butter

I LOVE BRIGHT COLORS AND BOLD DESIGN

This painting is the highlight of my office, and I have a bunch of colorful tattoos.

IF I WASN´T IN MARKETING

I’d be an interior designer. I love DIY projects like refinishing furniture and decorating my house.

MY CELEBRITY CRUSH

I worship at the altar of Chris Hemsworth. (He’s even my computer desktop image.)

MY FAMILY IS MY #1 PRIORITY

There’s a lot I won’t do for them though, because I know that you become your best by learning to do things for yourself.

The Silverbrook Story

2005: Entering the working world

Throughout college, I had design internships and jobs that supported my printing degree. After graduating from Clemson in December 2004, I started my first real job at a printing company. I pretty quickly found that customer service was not my cup of tea, but the company and the connections I made there led me to the world of nonprofit associations. (I also met my husband there!) I put my skills and knowledge to use in marketing for nonprofits, and I learned SO much in the field.

2020: Like a phoenix, reborn

At the end of 2019, the time had finally come where my work/life balance could allow me to start Silverbrook back up. But at this point, I had grown my marketing skills and had another decade of experience under my belt. I rebranded the company as Silverbrook Marketing, filed for my LLC in early 2020, and got my first official clients. At the end of 2022, I had reached the tipping point: I had too much Silverbrook work to continue working full-time as well. Together, my family decided I would take a chance and make Silverbrook my sole focus. And I’m so glad we did!!

1996: Destined to be a marketer

When I won a design contest for my swim team’s t-shirt, I knew I wanted a creative job. I dreamed of going into advertising and maybe even living in New York City! But when the time came, I applied to college as an engineering major. (All my friends were doing it. Roll eyes at myself!) I hated it immediately and switched my major to Graphic Communications, returning to my love of creative pursuits.

2010: Silverbrook begins

The first iteration of my business was called Silverbrook Design. I bought myself my first MacBook Pro and focused on creating 100% custom wedding invitations and social stationery for friends and a few clients. At the end of 2011, I was thrilled to have my first child! But life became too hectic to continue parenting, working full-time, AND keeping Silverbrook afloat. Something had to give, so I pushed pause on the side gig and focused on my family. I excitedly welcomed my second child in 2015.
