What is the benefit of working with a consultant?
There are so many reasons to work with an outside consultant or contractor! The biggest benefit is a fresh perspective from someone who has a wealth of experience. It’s also very cost effective because you’re gaining insights and content from a high-level marketer but only paying for the time you need me. How is the content delivered?
This is another area I’m able to be flexible. Some clients prefer receiving their content, especially written drafts, via regular ol’ email. I also use Dropbox for larger projects and clients who have a lot of individual projects with heavy graphics.
How do I schedule an appointment?
It’s super easy! Use this link to book directly onto my calendar. This eliminates a lot of back-and-forth trying to find a time that works for everyone!
How are your clients invoiced?
For ongoing services, clients are billed monthly for the work done the prior month. For example, on December 1 I sent invoices for all work completed in November. For project work, a 30% deposit is paid up front with the balance due at completion. All that said, I’m flexible with invoicing—especially for repeat clients.
Do you ever work onsite with a client?
I do! Depending on the relationship and services I provide, I’m onsite with clients frequently. Occasionally, I also meet with clients in person for better brainstorming and collaboration, or to go over a more complex project. I also just enjoy meeting people for coffee or lunch!
Do you have internships or mentees?
I LOVE supporting students and other rising marketing superstars. I’ve worked with students from James Madison University and Shenandoah University, and I’ve mentored several others throughout the US. I’m always happy to connect!
